The Cabin

This welcoming cabin is equipped with almost everything you need for your get-away.

  • Each of the three bedrooms has a top-of-the-line queen bed.

  • There are two bathrooms, one in the main living area and one in the master bedroom.

  • The kitchen is fully equipped with:

    • Dishwasher, range, refrigerator, microwave

    • Pots & pans, baking pans

    • Table settings: dishes, flatware, glasses, serving dishes

    • Small appliances: crockpot, coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, espresso machine, blender, mixer

  • Bed and bath linens provided

  • A fireplace with insert and a freestanding wood burning stove

  • WiFi, 36” HD satellite TV, DVD

Hello,


We’re Jeff and Karen, retirees from southern Arizona. While on vacation in Pine Top the summer of 2019, we decided to take a look at a few cabins on the market in the area before we headed home. We really had not planned on buying a cabin in Greer at the time, but this little gem was perfect for us. We knew it from the minute we saw it. Perhaps it’s because we are originally from Washington and Montana, but there’s just something about a pine forest. All the cares of the world, big or small, seem to fall away when we are here. 


Feeling extremely blessed by God to have this opportunity, we are happy to share “the best li’l cabin in the woods” with you. When considering a fitting name for our cabin, we thought about Evening Grace or Morning Glory. Evening Grace seemed to fit this season of our lives and our walk of faith that is defined by the grace shown to us at the end of the day which supersedes all our missteps and failings.

 

Morning Glory reminded us of new beginnings and fresh starts that follow forgiveness and grace. During our first stay in our own cabin, we rose one morning and looked out the front window at the sun peering through the ponderosas and knew this place was our Morning Glory.
